A new sign for the Pender Library evokes an old feel with red cedar pickets and a hand split cedar shake roof.  The wood salvaged from local beaches was hand split and the lettering hand carved and painted with high quality sign paint.

A simple slab of reclaimed red cedar is inscripted with Chinese characters for a bed and breakfast.  The translation is a play on the word, “heirloom”, for the heritage building, except that the translation is “heir-rooms”.
