Double gates to the beach

150 150 Thuja Wood Art - Reclaimed Cedar Furniture Wood Art Vancouver Victoria Gulf Islands British Columbia

These nice hand split red cedar double gates lead down to the beach.  They are made with mortise and tenon joinery and beginning to fade from the redish colour to a soft silver.  The reason for the double gates is that the owner stores his rowboat up off the beach in the winter, and with opening both gates he can carry it down the water for the summer season.
