This bench was commisioned as a memorial bench for a local couple who contributed to the building of the community hall.  Made from locally salvaged red cedar, hand split and constructed with mortise and tenon joinery.  The engraving was hand drawn and carved, then painted using high quality sign paint.

A set of two bedside tables made from salvaged red cedar.  The drawer, posts, and shelves have been sanded, and everything has been coated with a natural oil finish.  The table top is Environite, made from recycled glass in Victoria, BC.

A six foot long bench provides outdoor seating for three people.  A solid back, wide arms, and thick slabs give strength and durability to this bench.  Hand split red cedar in contrasting natural coloration add some interesting patterns to the basic design.

This coffee table is made from salvaged driftwood, all hand split red cedar. This cedar has some amazing colour variations in the grain, brought out by sanding it smooth and finishing the table with an all natural oil stain (Landark – Tung and Linseed oils, citrus, pine rosin, and beeswax).
