Driftwood Privacy Screen

150 150 Thuja Wood Art - Reclaimed Cedar Furniture Wood Art Vancouver Victoria Gulf Islands British Columbia

panelThis is a privacy screen separating two patio spaces at a local bed and breakfast.  The pickets and the frame are handsplit, salvaged red cedar with mortise and tenon joinery.  The rough, grey cross pieces are the outsides of the cedar as it is found on the beach, and reflects the lines of islands on the horizon, or floating sea weed, or patterns of driftwood or sand.
