Here is the matching pedestrian gate off to the right of the main driveway gates nestled in between the large old stone columns.
This is a simple design that works the best with heavy gates, a sprung latch which you push down on to pull the bar out of the catch. Custom made by George Hudson on Pender Island, BC.

This picture shows the main entry gate with funky arbour from driftwood, and fencing made all from hand split red cedar.
This fence is made entirely from hand split red cedar salvaged from local beach. Notice the posts are on saddles keeping them up off the ground so they dont rot.
