This was a fun little project for a local couple here on Pender Island. They needed a small coffee table but also wanted something artistic. So I used some very unique pieces of red cedar that I found which have amazing colour patterns for the top of the table and fun curved pieces for the legs. This table is 2’x 2′ and is constructed with mortise and tenon joinery. I left a small raw edge on the sides of the lower shelf. It has been oiled with a natural wood oil finish called OSMO.
