This little fence extension is part of a much larger fencing project I did a couple of years ago. The owner decided to add 3 more sections to follow the property line to the neighbours driveway and define a patch of forest in the corner of his property. The fence is built to match the original fencing, all handsplit red cedar from salvaged driftwood. The extension steps down and back up again into the corner to create a visual difference defining the new space. Handsplit grapestakes alternate within posts and cap sections with fun thin split cedar lines undulating throughout the fence. Another fun job!
