Ascension sign- Here is a sign I recently carved for a new business, Ascension Room, a space providing Holistic Health and Wellness for community members and visitors on Pender Island, BC. The sign is a replication of the business logo- a leafy stem gently bending to create a ying yang design in a circular space. The background has been carved away, 
revealing the design as a raised 3-dimensional relief. I used natural colour stains from Saman (water based wood stains) and finished with a clear UV resistant top coat of CedarSeal. The sign is made from local reclaimedred cedar.
